Before KindaCountry had a name, Morgan was already making one—an early voice in Christian music through the ’80s and ’90s, with award-winning songs and years of radio play.

Chuck met him in Nashville in 1998, just starting out. What began as a mentorship grew into a close friendship and a lasting songwriting partnership.

Seventy-some “kinda country” songs later, they created KindaCountry.us—a place to share free, original, professionally recorded music for the glory of God.

A few songs were written on their own, but most of these were built side by side—and these days, they’re even using a little AI in production and vocals, just another way to let the songs shine.

Just a couple guys writing songs—with a purpose: to move people.
